Day 2 of Chemotherapy

Today was all about relaxation and recovery.  The Doctor's wanted her to take things slow today.  Carmen only received one chemo drug today but she took it like a champ.  The dressing for the "piddycone" needed to be replaced today, which was a bit scary for Carmen but she got through it.
Carmen received a nice care package today from her best friend Raeva, a new princess book from Andy, Colleen, Matty and Ryan and some new toys from her friends on Kauai.   She had fun eating her trader joe's blueberries and reading her new book.

Carmen insisted on watching game one of the Stanley Cup Hockey finals with her Daddy.  "Go Canucks Go"!!!!

 Carmen decorated her pink bag

Carmen's first bowl of chocolate ice cream.

  3. Reading and relaxing, what a great way to spend the day, especially when you also get your very first bowl of chocolate ice cream. Your taste buds must have been deliciously tickled pink! I love seeing you through these photos Carmen and we are thinking of you every minute of every day. Could you tell your daddy that I have sent a package to the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. I sent it on Wed and should arrive anywhere from sat to mon. There just might be something in there for you Carmen to keep you busy while at the hospital. Love Auntie Deb and Uncle Dave
